The Costain-Carillion JV used Green Rhino Oil Retention Booms on the A5-M1 Link project The polymer booms are placed across the River Flit and Ouzel Brook watercourses downstream from CCJV plant operations. The booms sit on top of the watercourse and allow water to flow naturally but would capture any traces of diesel or oil in the event of a spill.
