Businesses and non-domestic premises with 10 or more full-time equivalent employees must separate recyclable materials (glass, metal, plastic, paper and card, and food waste) from general waste . From 31st March 2026 – Local authorities in England will be required to provide consistent recycling collections for households, including weekly food waste collection.
