Greenham Catalogue - Edition 24
ROAD DANGER LAMP LEGISLATION • The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 dictated that all road danger lamps must conform to BS EN 12352 and, in other circumstances, BS 3143: Part 2 and Part 4. • On road works where a street lamp is lit within 50 metres of the works and the speed limit is 40 mph or less, road danger lamps must flash at a rate of between 55 and 150 flashes per minute. • On all other works, the rate of flashing should be not less than 900 flashes per minute – i.e. static. • All lamps conform to BS EN 12352. These are essential devices to be used in alerting others to the dangers of roadworks or unexpected obstacles. Our range covers requirements for both motorway traffic management or urban utility. All our lamps featured are manufactured to withstand vigorous outdoor conditions and rough handling. Constructed from tough moulded plastic and all featuring super bright LEDs. HAZARD WARNING LAMPS
