PRINTING PROCESS

PRINTING PROCESSES We have several printing processes which we use regularly. The choice is dependent upon volume, sign environment or content. Below are some of our more popular options:

SCREEN PRINT

This method of printing is ideal for short production runs, custom designs or signs that require full colour images to be included. We are able to digitally print directly onto a wide range of materials. DIGITAL PRINT

This method is used for printing the majority of the safety signs within our catalogue. It ensures a high quality print, consistency of colour and a flawless finish.

ENGRAVING

VINYL GRAPHICS

Laser and rotary machines transform computer generated designs into tactile, prestigious signs. The use of layered substrate materials allows the top surface to be cut away to uncover the coloured lower layer.

Computer cut vinyl graphics can be applied to a substrate (such as Rigid Plastic, Aluminium etc) or pre-cut, ready to apply vinyl lettering or graphics can be applied directly to almost any flat, dry and clean surface.

CUSTOM SIGNS If you cannot find the message, size or material that you require then give us a call and, wherever possible, we will be happy to quote for anything outside our standard range. Whether it’s for a prestigious hotel or an after school club, our custom made signs allow you to get creative and provide a truly unique signage solution. Once you know how you want your sign to look, simply follow the steps below to begin the process of creating a bespoke sign.

Mock up your desired sign, take a picture of it on your phone and send it to us via email. Please don’t worry if you’re not artistically inclined just remember to include material, colour, text and sizes.

If you’ve seen a sign you require simply take a photo of it on your phone and send us the picture. We’ll then mock up the design based on your instructions and send you a proof to approve, following receipt of your order.

Seen a sign you like on a website? Send us the link or a screenshot, along with any additional comments relating to the size, material, or any alterations and we’ll provide you with a quote. Please be aware, there may be copyright restrictions.

When ordering a sign, consideration should be given to the environment it will be located within – is it internal or external? Is it for display in a warehouse or a prestige hotel? IMAGE & LOGOS

Please ensure all images / logos you send are high resolution to acheive a quality print finish. A high resolution file JPEG, PDF, EPS or Ai file of your company logo is ideal. Taking a logo from a home page of a website will not do. Low-resolution images are the main reason for slow production of custom specials. Have your logo ready prior to order to ensure quick order turnaround. If you are finding it difficult to find a high-resolution version of your logo you can sometimes find it via images. google.com simply drag your low-resolution logo file into the search bar and Google will search the internet for images that are similar. If there are any higher resolution logos found on the internet they will load. If all else fails we can reproduce your logo so it prints correctly - additional charges will apply.
