STAIRWAY, FLOOR LEVEL & DWELLING ID SIGNS

To assist the fire and rescue service in identifying each level of a building, storey identification signs indicate the level by “Floor Number” and should be located on every landing of a fire-fighting stairway and every fire-fighting lobby (or open access balcony) into which a fire-fighting lift discharges. Storey ID signs should be supplemented by dwelling indicator signs (positioned directly below the Storey ID sign), which provide information as to the dwellings (flats or maisonettes) located on the storey in question. INCLUSIVE EMERGENCY ESCAPE DESIGN

Although not currently ISO 7010 registered this design encorporates both a running man and man using a wheelchair to illustrate an inclusive emergency escape message. EMERGENCY ESCAPE FOR DISABLED PERSONS

This range of signs is specifically designed to assist the safe evacuation of physically disabled people in the event of an emergency. These signs meet the requirements of BS9999:2017 - Code of practice for fire safety in the design, management and use of buildings.
