GOOD TO GO SAFETY

GOOD TO GO SAFETY

Regular equipment inspections can help identify potential faults before they develop into costly and dangerous defects. The frequency of inspections can be defined by a wide range of variants. On occasion, legislation will set out the specific time period that checks must be made or alternatively a risk assessment may define how often an inspection should be carried out (based upon the level of risk and the potential outcome if a fault goes undetected). Good to Go Safety has three main components, the Universal Status Tag, Inspection Check Books and Tamper Evident Seals, these components make up our simple and effective preventative maintenance system. The Good to Go System can help detect damaged or faulty equipment early and can help to prevent accidents and/or reduce maintenance costs whilst ensuring that legislative requirements are met (PUWER, LOLER, WAHR) and more.

TAMPER EVIDENT SEALS Provide a visual indicator that an inspection has been completed and verified by a competent inspector. Using the Seals ensures the findings within the Status Tag are not tampered with and the correct status is always shown. If a Tamper Evident Seal is missing, employees should not use the equipment until the checklist has been confirmed and a new Seal is inserted by a competent inspector. Manufactured from blue acetal thermoplastic to offer maximum visibility against the yellow status tag. The design enables the arrow head to fit snug into the status tag and the neck has been hollowed in order to help the seal to snap easier when pulled forward. A simple solution to provide additional security measures to equipment safety.

A useful accessory to protect the Good to Go Safety Check Book from general wear and tear whilst in use. The wallet is PVC coated to help protect the checklist from contaminants such as water, dust or oil. The wallet also provides inspectors with a solid writing surface whilst they are on the move. The Check Book (not included) slips into a secure sleeve on one side of the wallet and on the other side there are useful guidance notes regarding the Good to Go Safety system. The ball point pen is stored inside a tight sleeve within the wallet ensuring it is always available during inspections.
